Audiences

Audiences let you define user segments based on device, location, behavior, and campaign data. Once you create a segment, you can use it to target smart banners, in-app messages, and other features to specific groups of users.

How segments work

A segment is a set of filter rules. When Tolinku evaluates a segment, it checks your analytics data (from the last 30 days) and returns the users who match all the rules.

For example, a segment with the rules “country equals US” and “platform equals ios” matches users from the United States on iOS devices.

Where you can use segments

Feature	What targeting does
Smart Banners	Show a banner only to users who match the segment
In-App Messages	Display a message only to matching users
Analytics	Filter analytics data to a specific user group

Note

Audience targeting requires a paid plan (Standard or higher). On the free tier, all features apply to all users.
